Those were the days
Remembering getting on the bus in Rotterdam, for my first day festival : 19 years old, a whopping fl 25 ( 11€ ) for a day ticket with bustrip to Belgium... there I was blown away ( not just because of the "Jupiler' beers, although they helped) but also the program... and then there was this band from " the Northside of Dublin" i came from "the Old North of Rotterdam" which blew me away.... since i've been to 48 other concerts, and hopefully my 50th will be next year ( 2027) in Dublin... PS since that day i'm not afraid to admit that i'm a fan of Adam :-)

Wonderful belgium festival !!
First time I had the honour to see U2 on stage, already great .....I was 17...but I still remember the incredible atmosphere created by these 4 young guys and their carisme on stage.. My first strong emotion in a concert!!! I have to admit that i still have this emotion with them... last times was in Paris in 2017 and 2018...

my first - hooked for life
and loving it :-) age 13, my first festival in a massive crowd of 25,000 people. walked (crawled) all the way to the front ... I was so small, couldn't see a thing unless I got to the fence ... barely knew U2 at the time but that was about to change. a steaming version of Out of Control opened the set. I remember Bono climbing into the PA tower, jumping off the stage to come and shake hands with those of us up front ... what a madman! what an energy!! 27 years later I still love the lads to little bits and pieces. There's no telling to how much I enjoyed the shows over the years. I will always consider bumping into U2 a very precious gift.
